Asplenium Bulbiferum, commonly known as the Hen and Chickens Fern or Mother Spleenwort, is an evergreen fern plant with lush, green foliage growing on slender, arching stems. The fronds have plantlets on the tips, which will eventually autumn off and grow into a new fern plant.
The Hen and Chickens Fern will grow best in moist, well-drained soil away from direct sunlight. They are excellent plants for adding year-round colour and texture to partially sunny or shady borders and rock gardens.
