Buddleia 'Petite Snow White'

‘Snow White’ is a new compact variety of Buddleia, the Butterfly Bush. This petite Buddleia does not grow invasive like other Butterfly bushes. It blooms pure white colour flowers over a prolonged period, from mid-summer until the first frost in winter. Snow White flowering shrub is admired for its classy sweet-scented flowers and its compact, well-behaved growing habit.

Buddleia plants shoot out arching branches that bear white flowers in cone-shaped bundles. These large cones of beautiful blooms attract butterflies all round the blooming season. Narrow leaves with silver-grey undersides cloak the shrub, making it a wonderful filler plant.

Buddleia Snow White is moderately drought tolerant, it demands watering in dry season, only until it is established. Plant it in a loam-based soil that is regularly drained, and watch how it develops into a cold hardy bush. They will flourish in both full sunlight or partial shade.

In the earlier stage of the growth, add a mulch of organic bark to the base of the plant for moisture retention. Buddleia Snow White is a perfect plant for a patio or area near pool. It can also be combined with other small or big Buddleia bushes for a colourful show of flowers.
