Cranberry 'Crowley'
Vaccinium Macrocarpon ‘Crowley’ - commonly known as Crowley Cranberry - is a low-growing, creeping shrub with evergreen foliage which turns a beautiful burnt orange or fiery red during the winter months. By the spring season, this foliage is accompanied by delicate, lacy pink flowers and by autumn/winter, clusters of plump, bright scarlet cranberries will be ready for picking.
Reaching an ultimate height of 15-30cm and an ultimate spread of 0.5-1m, Vaccinium Macrocarpon ‘Crowley’ is excellent for ground cover or for adding a privacy hedge as it forms a dense thicket. It is also perfect for adding to raised beds or baskets as it will beautifully cascade over the edges. If the berries are not picked before the festive season, they can often survive throughout winter, providing a burst of colour to a winter landscape.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
