Cytisus 'Fulgens'

Cytisus Fulgens is a small shrub that is ideal for any part of the garden. Its compact size is ideal for filling gaps in beds and borders and makes this the ideal shrub for brightening up the patio in pots and containers.

Also known as Common Broom, this shrub has an upright growing habit. It produces upright green stems that bear small, dark-green, three-palmate leaves from spring to autumn. In late spring, bright, fragrant, yellow-orange flowers adorn the plant, making it a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

This is a low maintenance garden shrub that grows well left to its own devices. Plant in full sun and ensure the soil is well drained. Cytisus Fulgens doesn’t cope well with waterlogged soil and hates being transplanted, so pick your spot carefully!
