Gojiberry Lycium barbarum 'Little Goji'
Gojiberry Little Goji is a compact fruit plant, making it ideal for smaller gardens and terraces. It grows well in the ground but is also suitable for container gardening and is perfect for a south-facing patio or balcony.
Goji berries are bursting with vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids, earning them the title of a superfood. They are red-orange in colour with an oval shape and a sweet and sour flavour often compared to cranberries. The berries can be enjoyed dried or fresh from the plant. They are also widely used to make juices and herbal teas.
This pollinator-friendly garden plant produces lilac-purple star-shaped flowers throughout summer. It boasts rich green, slender, lanceolate leaves and, unlike larger Gogi Berry varieties, very few thorns or spines. Gojiberry Little Goji plants tolerate light shade but crop heaviest in full sun. They are hardy, undemanding plants that grow well in most soil types.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
