Water thoroughly and regularly, particularly during hot, dry spells, avoiding getting the fruits wet wherever possible. For the best yield, apply a high potash feed every fortnight from early spring. Harvest when the fruits are fully red and enjoy as soon as possible after picking. Ripe strawberries can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
