Hydrangea 'Petite Lissjudy'

Also known as Petite Lantern, Hydrangea Petite Lissjudy is a compact deciduous garden shrub with dark green oval leaves that provide the perfect backdrop for the lime green flowers that emerge in mid-summer. These blooms change colour throughout the season, turning white before adopting a sumptuous raspberry pink tone in September.

Ever popular, Hydrangea plants are traditionally positioned in flower beds and borders. However, they are also perfect for growing in pots and containers to brighten the patio. Choose a sheltered spot where the shrub can bask in full sun or partial shade and plant in moist but well-draining soil.

Prune your Hydrangea in late winter or early spring before the buds start to form. Doing this helps promote healthy, bushy new growth and helps maintain the plant’s neat shape. Water these hardy plants regularly until established, after which you should only need to water the shrub during particularly dry spells.
