Matteuccia Struthiopteris, also commonly known as the Shuttlecock Fern, is a deciduous, outdoor fern plant with classic green foliage. Leaves are lance-shaped and narrow, growing on erect stems which form a shuttlecock shape.
The Shuttlecock Fern will grow best in moist, well-drained soil and it will thrive best in a shady environment. They are excellent plants for adding colour and texture to partially sunny or shady borders and rock gardens or filling in gaps between trees and shrubs.
