Narcissus tazetta 'Paperwhite'

Narcissus are bulbous herbaceous perennials with linear leaves and leafless stems bearing flowers, which may be solitary or in umbels, with 6 spreading perianth segments and a cup or trumpet-shaped corona.

This traditional paperwhite is said to have the strongest scent of all. It can be planted out in sheltered gardens, but it is more often planted up into bulb bowls and 'forced' to grow early as an indoor plant. The scent is unforgettable and will fill your house for weeks on end.
