Philadelphus 'Pearls of Perfume'

Better known as Mock Orange, Philadelphus Pearls of Perfume is a free-flowering garden shrub that produces an abundance of flowers throughout the summer months. The large, fully double pure white blooms decorate the plant from May to August, exuding an alluring perfume that permeates any outdoor space. These flowers are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden all season long.

This cultivar has a compact growing habit, making it ideal for smaller gardens. Pearls of Perfume can be used to add colour and interest to beds and borders or as feature plants in garden pots and patio containers. The blooms make excellent cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy their fragrance inside the home.

Plant Mock Orange in full sun or partial shade in well-draining soil. Water regularly until established, after which Philadelphus is relatively drought tolerant. Lightly prune immediately after flowering to maintain the plant’s neat size and shape.
