Redcurrant 'Rolan'

Redcurrant Rolan is a mid-season Ribes rubrum variety, producing a healthy yield of soft, bright red currants throughout July. The fruits grow in large clusters on dense upright branches and are ideal for culinary use, including making jams, desserts, and wines.

This self-fertile fruit plant is a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, who find the small yellow-green flowers and glossy red fruits irresistible. Redcurrant Rolan is renowned for its hardiness and grows best in full sun, although a lesser crop can be achieved in partial shade.
