Snowmound Spiraea feature alternate blue-green, elliptical to narrow ovate leaves that turn to yellowish green in autumn. Flowers are followed by greenish-brown miniature fruits that are insignificant in size but cover the dark-brown burgundy arching stems in late summer.

These stunning flowering shrubs are also urban pollution tolerant. They will thrive in full sun, planted in moist soil that is regularly well-drained. In fact, they will adapt to a wide range of soils including clay and dry soil. Snowmound will grow to 3 feet tall at maturity and should not be allowed to dry out.
