Being climbing plants, White Ensign Sweet Peas benefit from a support in the form of a trellis or obelisk to scramble up. They are easy to grow, preferring a sheltered spot in full sun in well-draining soil. Water well after planting and during dry spells to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Pinch the tips of young plants to promote bushy growth and an abundance of flowers and deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering.
