Tulip 'Silver Cloud'
Triumph Silver Cloud is named after the iconic Rolls Royce model and boasts the same elegance and sophistication as its namesake. The Tulips are traditional in shape and emerge in a delicate shade of pale lavender. As they mature, the blooms fade to adopt a silvery-white hue that appears to shimmer in the sunlight.
The ideal time to plant these 10-11 sized bulbs is from September to October in pots or mid-October – December (after the first frost) in beds and borders. Choose a sheltered, sunny spot and dig a hole around 20cm deep in well-draining soil. Position the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing the sky and backfill with soil, gently firming down as you go, then water in well. Leave 10-15cm between bulbs to afford space for the roots to develop.
