Feijoa Acca Sellowiana, also commonly known as the Pineapple Guava Plant, is an outdoor, garden fruit plant with showy spring and summer flowers which are followed by exotic guava fruits. Flowers are large and flamboyant, with pink petals and a large bouquet of crimson stamens in the centre.

Fruits will follow after flowering in optimal conditions, with green skin which is flushed with red. As the name suggests, the Pineapple Guava has a sweet pineapple flavour, perfect for eating fresh from the plant.

The Pineapple Guava is a sun lover and will thrive on a sunny patio or in a sunny wall-side border. Over colder periods, they should be taken indoors during the winter months, however in milder climates they are fabulous as evergreen hedging.
