Grape 'Cabernet Cantor'

Grape Cabernet Cantor is a relatively new wine making variety from the Netherlands. However, the fruit can also be enjoyed fresh from the vine and can be sweetened to make desserts and soft drinks. The grapes have a strong flavour, producing aromatic, intensively coloured, Merlot-like wines.

Cabernet Cantor is a low-maintenance cultivar that is easy to care for. It is highly resistant to disease, including powdery mildew, and is a vigorous grower. This popular grape variety prefers a sunny, sheltered spot and thrives in well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil.
