Prunus 'Beni-yutaka'

The Prunus ‘Beni-yutaka’ more commonly known as the Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree is a deciduous tree. This variety has green foliage that turns red in the Autumn. Large, pink umbrella-shaped flowers that open in Spring. These flowers are fragrant and appear in large clusters. The Prunus ‘Beni-yutaka’ has a spreading habit; this variety is hardy and will thrive in most soil types. The Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree is best planted in a full sun or partially shaded location.
